IT turns out, luxury holidays don’t have to cost a fortune – if you know where to look.

And for a last minute getaway, you can bag week-long stays in 4 or 5* hotels for under £300pp, with flights included.

We found a lot of these deals on Travel Republic, which sells Atol-protected holidays to a huge number of destinations.

One of the cheapest was for a 7-night room-only stay at the 4* HTop Royal Star in Costa Brava, which has five different swimming pools you can choose from.

With flights departing from London Gatwick on September 2, you’d pay just £250pp.

Another option is the 4* Ilusion Moreyo in Majorca.

The adult-only hotel was renovated in 2020 and has its own spa.

For a 7-night stay on a B&B basis, with flights from London Gatwick on September 30, you’d pay just £251pp.
